Getting Started
This page explains the basics of creating an account with TradeAware and accessing your API details. If at any time you have challenges or questions when using TradeAware, you can contact support.
Sign Up
You can access the TradeAware application at https://tradeaware.live-eo.com/
From here select “Sign Up”. You then have the option to either create an account with email and password or use Google or Microsoft social sign on options.

Confirm your email
If you use email and password, you will be asked to confirm your email.

To confirm, simply check your email for the confirmation email from [email protected]. Note: if you can't find the email, please check your spam folder. Then select confirm email address.

This will take you to a page confirming your email has been verified.

Onboarding
After you join the system, you will start the onboarding flow.
You will be asked to accept the Terms of Use which you can access at any time here.

You will be brought to the onboarding modal where you can enter your account details.

You can expand the options to add "Business Information" and "EORI or VAT" by selecting the arrows. This information is optional on login and only appears for the first user who logins for the account. You can add or update these at any time in the account page.

If you plan to the use the system to submit due diligence statements to the EU TRACES system, you will need to add your address and EORI or VAT. Selecting this will open the option to add identifiers (EORI or VAT) for your business required by the EU TRACES system. You can use the drop down to change the identifier you are adding and the plus sign to add another identifier.

You can add or change this information in your account page.
Note: You must use an EORI identifier to create due diligence statements for import and export. For domestic statements, you may use either EORI or VAT.
TradeAware Home Page
After completing sign up you will navigate to the TradeAware home page.

Manage Account
You can access your account information by selecting the icon at top right of the screen and selecting “Manage account”.

This shows your personal and business details and has options to edit your profile, access developer tools and add team members.

Log Out and Subsequent Login
You can log out of your account by selecting the icon at the top right of the screen and selecting “logout”.

This will take you back to the login page.
You can then login with your originally selected method of login.
Reset Password
Visit the Login page https://tradeaware.live-eo.com/ and select the Forgot Password option.
Provide the email address associated with your account.
You will receive an email from [email protected] with a link to reset your password. Note: If you don't see the email, please check your spam folder.
Follow the instructions, and set a new password.
